A small software company that ships.
Zaka-E builds digital products for businesses in Lebanon and the wider region — and runs its own software in production, which is the part that keeps us honest.
Why we exist
Zaka-E started from a familiar frustration: businesses here get offered either a template site that says nothing, or an enterprise system priced for a company ten times their size. The middle — software actually shaped around how a business works, at a price it can justify — was mostly missing.
So we built in that gap. Landing pages for companies that need to explain themselves properly. Custom web apps for teams whose process has outgrown the spreadsheet. AI systems for the repetitive work that eats an afternoon a week. And stores that account for how people here actually pay.
Along the way we hit a payroll problem of our own, and rather than work around it we built VERA. Running our own product in production changed how we build for everyone else — you notice different things when you are the one closing the month.
We are deliberately small. You talk to the people writing the code, the scope is written down before work starts, and everything we build is handed over as yours: the repository, the cloud account, the documentation.

These are not values on a wall. They decide what we say yes to.
Scope beats features
A small thing that works completely is worth more than a large thing that mostly works. We would rather cut scope than ship something half-finished.
Arabic is not a plugin
Half the region works in Arabic. Right-to-left layout, Arabic typography, and bilingual content belong in the build from the first commit, not in a translation pass at the end.
The human keeps the decision
We build AI that drafts, sorts, and suggests. Anything that spends money, changes a record, or leaves the building goes past a person first.
You should be able to leave
The code, infrastructure, and documentation are yours from day one. A client who stays because switching is painful is not a client we want.

Discovery ends in a written scope and a number. If we underestimated, that is on us — not a change request halfway through.

A staging link from week one. No reveals, no surprises at the end, and problems get caught while they are still cheap.

No account manager in the middle. Your questions go to the people who can answer them.
Support after launch
A support window while your team settles in, and a straightforward arrangement after that if you want us to stay involved.
